A Brief INTRODUCTION

Our story

Sekelbos Guesthouse consists of 5 Guest rooms that can host up to a total of 10 guests. All rooms are equipped with double sized beds (in one room the King size bed can be divided in two single beds) with en-suite bathrooms. Every room has a refrigerator, electric kettle, Micro wave oven, flat screen TV with DSTV, air conditioning and or roof fan and a safe in the room. All beds have fitted sheets, blankets and quality pillows.

Sekelbos Guesthouse also do have 5 Self-Catering units for single persons with a fully equipped kitchenette some of the rooms have a bath and shower. (Request availability directly from Management)

Our reason for existence is to make our customers FEEL AT HOME while away from home.

About Us

We are close to the N1 (6km) and R114 (3,2km) highways making it easy to reach any key locations in Pretoria.

Once on either one of these two highways, getting to any location in Pretoria, Pretoria East, Midrand, Johannesburg, Lanseria Airport or Krugersdorp is a very easy drive. Another option is to commute with the Gautrain to Sandton or OR Tambo International Airport. The Gautrain station is in Centurion about 7 km from Sekelbos Guesthouse. This is a very effective way to avoid traffic congestion when travelling to Sandton, Pretoria, Central Johannesburg and OR Tambo Airport.

Breakfast / Dining room

Enjoy a relaxing start to your day in our comfortable breakfast room. We serve Breakfast from a menu to accommodate your taste for the day, with garden views to compliment the ambiance.  The song of birds provides a symphonic backdrop to the rich aroma of breakfast. A combination that will tickle your senses with pleasure. You can request to have your Breakfast served outside in our relaxing “stoep” area where you can experience the fresh air and the bird live first hand.

Lapa and Swimming Pool area

Nestled between high trees the pool has a natural feel to it. Serene poolside relaxation happens either under the lapa shade or full sun should you need some vitamin D. The bird aviary close to the swimming pool will contribute towards the relaxing sound of birds and doves that bring nature so close. The sounds of splashing water will occasionally be interrupted by the playful chirping of many birds that call the surrounding trees home and using the water fall at the swimming pool to drink some water. This is where you can relax your senses and forget about everyday stress
